My name is Angelo David, I am a motion designer, animator and sculptor currently based in Toronto. A little over 17 years ago, I started off as a 3D character animator. Working in a small studio gave me the exposure of being in every aspect of film making- from pre to post production. I then branched into motion graphics and brand design. With the guidance and support of seniors and mentors, I was eventually able to lead projects. I have been further challenging myself to create zines, wire & clay sculptures and also dabble in VR! I truly enjoy working with many different clients, be it for episodic graphics, 3D blender experimental animations, music videos or high quality explainer videos.
Brought up in a family steeped in art inspired me to look at life through artistic eyes. The complex design and patterns of nature never ceases to amaze me, and this quite often translates in my work. My art process is intuitive, incorporating the natural tendencies of the medium I'm working in. Regardless of medium, story telling has always been my primary drive, invoking curiosity and making the viewer look deeper.
